Two young men were shot and killed in a devastating act of violence at the Non-Profit's education center in Des Moines on January 23. The Founder of the movement, William Holmes was also shot and remains in serious condition. The men killed are named Rashad Carr (16) and Gionni Dameron (18). Friends remember Dameron as the type of person who always had a smile on his face and Carr as a talented rapper who had big potential to make it in the industry.
Wildflower stands as a proud advocate against police brutality and terror towards black people that has ultimately led to yet another death in Memphis. Tyre Nichols was a motorist who was stopped for reckless driving and died from injuries after being beaten by 5 police officers on January 23.
